Would you mind running Crosswords or some variant of it? :3 There's also Information Exchange, whichever you prefer. Or both. Or none. |D

It'd be kind of horrible of me if I didn't pick the Asobot Initiative up again, you know. That one's a given!

Crosswords is rather intimidating to me, but I'll ponder up some way of making it work. Consider that a "maybe".

Information Exchange could also be a challenge for me, but it's far more possible. Give me some time to ponder up some new ideas for it, and then I'll get back to you with a definitive "yes" or "no".

If I grab either/both of them, though, do I get to change the mascots? (Because if so, Izaya's getting genderswapped and Crosswords is getting an incredible mascot; because it doesn't have one right now, right?)

Given that both games have kind of fallen to the wayside for some reason, I don't mind if we think of some other game instead. If you have any ideas for a new game, feel free to run them by me!

If not, seeing the revival of Crosswords or Information Exchange or both would be awesome. You'd have free reign over them. :3

Then I do believe that I'll be pondering up ideas for both games as well as pondering up ideas for a new game. Who knows what I'll come up with! Maybe I'll pick up both, maybe i'll pick up one and a new game idea!

Okay, as others have brought up "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." which applies spectacularly to Information Exchange. I just have to make sure that the rounds are not impossible but also take some thought-power.

Now, for Crosswords, I have come up with a spectacular idea. Each round will offer players two different Crossword layouts. One that is shaped like a + and one that is shaped like a #. Players must trade in cards from their trade piles to fill in either one; but not both.

The number of letters in each line of the + and # vary per round and the position of the overlaps vary. Offering these two shapes gives players options instead of feeling it's impossible. (+ could be Enjoy and Oranges overlapping at the N. if the round was a 5-long and a 7-long word crossing.)

If the player fills in the +, they trade in two cards (one letter overlap per card name). They receive two cards in return and a "bonus" (explained below).

If the player fills in the #, they trade in four cards (two letters overlap per card name). They receive five cards in return and a "bonus" (explained below).

The "bonus": Each round, there will be an assigned bonus given to players whose card numbers (in total) are even or odd. In a screened comment, the prizes for even or odd totaled cards will be posted and, at the end of the round, the prizes will be given out. A round example could be: "EVEN: +0 Cards. ODD: +1 Crayon." or perhaps "EVEN: +2 Cards, ODD: +0 Cards". Things like that.

The Crosswords revamp idea has been posted. Thoughts / ideas / recommendations whenever you have a moment? I'm not particularly sure if I should continue with it as it is, or where changes should be made. Are the prizes acceptable? Is the bonus per round acceptable? Do the cards go to recycled after the game ends? (I would assume they do).

Should I switch off and have occasional normal-crossword rounds? My concern is that I'm not really up to date with most series, so creating trivia that's fair for all would be a challenge for me. That was a big push in coming up with this revamp idea. It requires effort, but it's effort that anyone can expend as it doesn't rely on knowledge from any fandom.

Or... what. D:

It would be nice to switch between these rounds and normal crosswords, but I can see how normal crosswords might be hard to come up with. Maybe... shrink the crosswords? Have 5 questions instead? T___T;;
