Also -- Lucathia, is it possible to update the upcoming decks lists with a special deck under my side? It's from Baten Kaitos, featuring major characters from that game, and the deck name is Greyridge. It... was donated on Plurk rofl that's why it never showed up in any official LJ posts OTL

Poor Asobot Initiative. Maybe it needs more advertising? And we could also consider having random cards as rewards involved...?

You know, I actually really like that idea! What about offering to the same amount of cards for every donated card -- so someone who donates five cards, yay, can get five random cards in return? It'd be a bit like the Art Studio, but to differentiate it, maybe we can throw in rewards that are equal to what's dished out for masteries (sans the choice card), so members who don't see any decks they like in the Asobot can still claim some sort of benefit. This won't be any problem to run at all.

If this goes through, I think I'd like to compensate older donators as well -- so someone who has donated 25 cards to the Asobot Initiative can claim 25 random generated cards, unless they've claimed a deck for mastery before. In which case, we'll compensate them 5 cards so no one loses anything.

eta; o-okay I just looked through the logs for Asobot and realised that there are people like Remus, who have donated 38 cards without possibly claiming any decks from the Initiative. This means that Remus has lost 38 cards. There's also Rachel, who have donated 24 cards so far, and the next runner-up is Moon with 20 cards -- omg this initiative owes players so many cards

I guess the current system isn't very rewarding as players get no benefit unless they pick a deck to master from the Initiative, which... is not conducive or appealing at all when the decks are in the Initiative precisely because they're unloved in the first place. XD";; I think players would benefit from being able to trade in unloved cards for randomly-generated ones, and receiving rewards equivalent to regular masteries regardless of if there's a deck that they want or not. :D

I think it would motivate people to contribute more cards to AI! And it would also help boost card circulation to have a place where players can earn cards in a different way than answering games that close at a certain date. Donating 1 card and receiving one card back seems like a good ratio.

Would you count all the way to the start, or just from when you took over AI?

Random cards weren't feasible before when Asobot wasn't official, but since it is official now, random cards are fine. :3;; I remember Skie and I were also brainstorming the possibility of some unofficial decks becoming available to claim for every 20 cards someone contributes (like being able to claim some unofficial decks that won't ever be in the generator) but that ended up taking too much thinking, so it didn't go through... XD;;

I don't mind going back all the way to the beginning; it'd be sad for any players to lose cards, since that's not what the initiative is about. AI has been running for a while, but it's been mostly quiet, so there's actually not a lot to catch up with. Quite a number of players who have donated before are either on hiatus or are inactive as well, which makes things easier. :'D

Thanks for approving the suggestion! I'll find a day where I can sit down and dish out rewards, and announce the change.

Unofficial decks? :o Like the Anniversary ones?

I've put the decks I donated by others and prioritized player decks first.

If you don't mind waiting another day, I can tackle the bleach decks! If not, I'll just do the ones I've claimed already. I should be done with most of them tomorrow.

Would be great if you could do the Bleach decks! Feel free to take until the 5th with those. Do you think you can take one more deck on top of that? That'll leave 5 decks, which I feel I'd be able to handle.

I can take 2 more! i'd be interested in the 11eyes decks actually haha~
